The slideshow runs on the big screen all night. In the morning the gallery opens, grouped by roll and time, through everyone’s eyes.
Film stocks
Pick a look. Every photo matches.
Each stock is graded by a colourist and applied on the phone in the second after the shutter. No filters to choose, no edits to make, no folder of 2,000 files that don’t go together. Sixty phones, one object.
Warm Film
Lifted, faded blacks. Teal in the shadows, orange in the highlights. Light grain. Feels like it was always a memory.
Launching with these four. Your phone shows a clean viewfinder while you shoot; the look arrives when the frame develops. That is the point.
The camera
Thirty exposures. Make them count.
A real camera has limits, and limits are where the good photographs come from. Every guest gets 25 stills and 5 clips per roll. No bursts, no spray-and-pray, no four hundred photos of the cake.

The shutter is the counter
The big number on the shutter is what you have left. It goes down. It does not come back until the next roll.
Develop
One to two seconds after the shutter, the frame slides out and the picture resolves in front of you. It is the best part, so we designed it instead of showing a spinner.
The Darkroom
Not sure? Undecided frames wait on your phone, offline, until you are. Nothing is published unless you hang it. Even after the reveal.

Hang puts it in the shared gallery. Toss burns the frame. Both are final. Thirty exposures is enough to be generous and too few to be careless.

Live on the big screen
Plug a laptop into the venue screen, sign in at lenses.events/app/slideshow and pick the event. New photographs appear as they are hung, newest first with a little shuffle, with the join QR in the corner so latecomers can jump straight in.
Reveal mode
Turn on Reveal and nobody can scroll the gallery until the morning. The only way to see tonight’s photos tonight is to look up. Everyone gets a nudge when it opens: noon the next day, unless you say otherwise.
Then, the morning after
The gallery opens in the app: grouped by roll and time, Your roll, one tap to love a photo, export at full size. And the slideshow is still there to play at the next dinner, the re-live.

- Nobody gets turned away. If more guests show up than you paid for, they still get in and still shoot. We sort it out with you afterwards, never at the door.
- Compare: a hundred disposable cameras cost about $1,500 before developing, and you get the photos in three weeks. Lenses for 100 guests is $27.99, and you get them at noon.
- Prices are USD, one-off per event. Extra days (rolls) are half the tier price each. Guests never pay anything.

Do guests need an account?
No. Guests scan the QR or type the six-character code, enter their name, and they are holding the camera. No email, no password, no app-store sign-in. Ever.
Do guests need to download an app?
Yes, and it is on purpose. Lenses is a real camera: the grade happens on the phone, shots queue when there is no signal, and the darkroom lives on the device. A web form cannot do any of that. Scanning the QR opens the store; after install the app opens on “Enter your event code”, and the code is printed right beside the QR.
Does it work without signal?
Yes. Shooting, developing and the darkroom are all on the phone. Hung photos queue and upload when the phone finds a connection. The slideshow needs one screen with internet, that is all.
Can I see photos before everyone else does?
Yes. Turn on Reveal and the gallery stays hidden from guests until the time you choose. As the organiser you can see everything as it arrives, on the slideshow or in the app, and delete anything that should not be there.
Can a guest delete a photo?
Before it is hung, yes: Toss burns the frame. After it is hung, no; that is what hanging means. Only the organiser can delete from the gallery. It keeps the gallery honest and keeps guests thoughtful with their thirty.
Why thirty exposures?
Because unlimited is where bad photos come from. Twenty-five stills and five clips is enough to be generous over an evening and few enough that people look before they press. Multi-day events get a fresh thirty every day.
How long are the photos kept?
Ninety days on the free tier and a year on paid tiers. Download everything at full size whenever you like; it is your event.
What happens if more people turn up than I paid for?
They get in. We never lock the fifty-first guest out of a wedding. We will talk to you afterwards about the right tier.
Which phones does it work on?
iPhone and Android, current and last few years of each. The grade runs on the phone’s GPU, so it is quick on anything reasonably modern.
